To be considered a Pirate representative the person should be a member of the Pirate Party of the Nation, State or electorate that is appropriate to that election. So a person who changes party affiliation after being elected qualifies. A person who is elected under a coalition or alliance but is not a Pirate Party member will generally not be included unless there is a good reason that precludes them joining e.g. legal technicalities.
