Flattr Appreciation During August Euro 18.80

In August 2013 we had 31 things flattred by 14 unique users. In total we were flattred 36 times last month and received Euro 18.80 in support for our work. We had one Flattr click less than last month and 4 more supporters, and gained 11 Euros more compared to last month. This is most likely due to summer holidays for most people and each click being worth more than normal. Thanks to our loyal supporters (18 subscriptions to our things = half of clicks this month made automatically) we got a good support even though most people were away on vacation.

Flattr is a microdonation service that allows you to give a small amount of money each month to content you would like to give support. It can be compared to a “facebook super-like” with money attached. Users act like patrons of work or people they want to support and  ”many small streams” adds up to something larger.
