microdonation support for newspaper

Flattr Appreciation During December 2013, Euro 13.17

In December 2013 we had 39 things flattred by 12 unique users. In total we were flattred 64 times last month and received Euro 13.17 in support for our work. Your money has, since before, payed for a translation plugin that we will be using here on Pirate Times. Infrastructure is in place and we’re almost ready to launch our French and Spanish translations of articles. Thanks.

Flattr is a microdonation service that allows you to give a small amount of money each month to content you would like to give support. It can be compared to a “Facebook super-like” with money attached. Users act like patrons of work or people they want to support and  ”many small streams” adds up to something larger.
