Pimp Your Social Media With a Pirate Badge
This post is also available in: Spanish
With European elections quickly approaching many people want to show their support through social media. One easy way to do this is through displaying a badge on your social media profile. Pirate Times provides an easy way to do this.
You can easily modify the “Facebook Picture Tagging Script” to your own needs. The original code (as well as the one modified by us) is available for download in the footer. Upload the files to your own sub-domain and adjust the lines in ‘uploader.html’ to your own logos. The code is published under GNU General Public License, feel free to remix it for your own purposes. There is already a Swedish version.
Another way of showing you support for the Pirate Party is by copy-pasting this Ⓟ to your bio/description. The Ⓟ originally denotes a “copyright in a sound recording embodied in a phonorecord”. Since we already are working on reforming the concept of “Pirate” as something good, we might as well adopt this symbol to denote that we support the Pirate Party.
